All Ed Edd And Eddy Characters

Think a jawbreaker is worth any scam? Then you already get the spirit of Ed, Edd n Eddy! Through countless scams, misadventures, and battles with the likes of Kevin, Nazz, and the unstoppable Kanker Sisters, the show bottled the chaos, excitement, and awkwardness of childhood. Oh, sounds nostalgic yet? Let’s take a look back at Ed Edd and Eddy cartoon characters again!

A Look Back At Ed Edd And Eddy Series

Think growing up was chaotic, hilarious, and just a little bit messy? Ed, Edd n Eddy bottled that energy perfectly! Premiering on Cartoon Network in 1999, this iconic series—created by Danny Antonucci—followed three unforgettable misfits: Ed, the strong goofball; Edd, the brainy neat freak; and Eddy, the get-rich-quick schemer.

Their scam-filled adventures across the cul-de-sac were packed with slapstick humor, wild imagination, and jawbreaker-sized dreams. With its squiggly animation style, quirky sound effects, and larger-than-life characters, Ed, Edd n Eddy wasn’t just another cartoon—it was a full-blown childhood experience that still echoes through pop culture today.

The Main Cast of Ed Edd n Eddy We All Cherish

Ed

Ed

If there’s one kid who could lift a house and still ask for buttered toast afterward, it’s Ed! Lovable and oh-so-dimwitted, Ed’s head is often lost in monster movies and comic book fantasies. Despite being the biggest and strongest of the trio, his heart is even bigger. Always up for a scam (even if he doesn’t quite understand it), Ed’s simple-minded joy and loyalty made him one of the most unforgettable goofballs in Peach Creek.

Life with Ed is never boring. You might end up chasing chickens or making a fort out of mashed potatoes. His unibrow and hearty laugh (“Buttered toast!”) became classic hallmarks of the show. Sure, hygiene isn’t exactly his best trait (Double D would agree), but who could stay mad at Ed’s adorable, infectious grin?

Edd (Double D)

Edd

Meet the brainiac of the Ed trio—Edd, or “Double D” as we lovingly call him. This polite, neat, and slightly neurotic genius is the mastermind behind most of the Eds’ inventions. Sporting his signature black beanie and a vocabulary that could stump a spelling bee champion, Edd is the voice of reason in a world full of chaos.

But don’t let his tidy ways fool you. Double D’s loyalty to his childhood friends knows no bounds. Even when Eddy’s wild schemes go sideways (and they always do), Double D sticks around, building gadgets out of junk and keeping the Ed spirit alive. Just, uh, don’t ask him to take off his hat. Ever.

Eddy

Eddy

Eddy from Ed Edd and Eddy is the pint-sized ringleader with a big mouth and an even bigger dream: getting rich off jawbreakers! Always scheming, always hustling, Eddy’s flashy yellow bowling shirt and cocky swagger made him instantly recognizable. Whether bragging about his mysterious (and somewhat terrifying) older brother or hatching the next big scam, this self-appointed ambitious leader was always chasing glory and a little bit of respect.

Deep down, though, Eddy’s tough-guy act hid some real insecurities. His constant hustling wasn’t just about candy; it was about wanting to be somebody. In a way, his crazy energy and charm kept the whole cul-de-sac spinning.

Sarah

Sarah

Sweet-looking on the outside, pure terror on the inside, that’s Sarah! As Ed’s little sister, she has a PhD in bossing people around (especially her poor, trembling brother). With her short temper and knack for tattling, Sarah often ruled the cul-de-sac with an iron fist disguised in a pretty pink dress.

Yet, hidden beneath the tantrums, Sarah has a big heart, especially for her bestie, Jimmy. And hey, when Sarah loves you, she loves you fiercely. Just make sure you don’t cross her, or you’ll face a shriek that could shatter glass!

Jimmy

Jimmy

Sensitive, stylish, and a little sparkly, Jimmy is the cul-de-sac’s sweetest (and most fragile) resident among the Ed Edd n Eddy cast. Sporting a headgear retainer and a knack for dramatic flair, this cherished character could often be found twirling with a flower or planning the perfect tea party with Sarah. His dream? Fame, fabulousness, and maybe a world without bruised knees.

Though often the victim of the Eds’ scams, Jimmy occasionally showed a surprising streak of cleverness, outsmarting even Eddy once or twice! Lesson learned: Never underestimate a kid who can rock a tutu and run a successful con!

Rolf

Rolf

Rolf is basically the ambassador of Old World weirdness in Peach Creek. Raised in a proud, hard-working farming family, Rolf often spoke in hilarious riddles about “the old country” and traditions that baffled everyone else. You haven’t truly lived until you’ve heard Rolf sing to his goat Victor or praise the mighty strength of pickled herring.

Despite his quirks (and occasional bursts of scary strength), Rolf is kind-hearted, loyal, and endlessly entertaining. Ed might be strong, but Rolf’s old-country wisdom makes him a force of nature all his own.

Kevin

Kevin

If the cul-de-sac were high school, Kevin would definitely be “that cool kid with the bike.” Sporting a backward cap and an endless supply of jawbreakers (thanks to his dad’s job), Kevin spent his days cruising the neighborhood and tossing out “dork” insults like candy. This cherished character was Eddy’s sworn enemy and made sure everyone knew it.

But Kevin wasn’t just a jock stereotype. Occasionally, he showed a softer side, especially when it came to his precious bike. Just don’t ask him to lose a race or take off his hat—you will regret it.

Nazz

Nazz

Easygoing, blonde, and effortlessly cool, Nazz was the dream girl of Peach Creek. Nearly every boy (yes, even Ed) swooned when she walked by, and honestly, who could blame them? Nazz had a kind heart, a laid-back attitude, and a smile that could stop scams in their tracks.

Despite her chill vibe, Nazz wasn’t afraid to throw a punch if provoked—especially if the Eds’ schemes got too ridiculous. In between dodging bad plans and rocking the latest trends, Nazz pretty much defined what it meant to be effortlessly awesome.

Jonny 2×4

Jonny 2x4

Jonny 2×4 is the perfect reminder that childhood imagination knows no bounds. Bald, barefoot, and blissfully weird, Jonny wasn’t like the other kids—and he liked it that way. With his constant sidekick, Plank (yes, a literal plank of wood), Jonny turned the cul-de-sac into his personal playground.

Often underestimated, Jonny was surprisingly brave when it came to defending Plank’s honor. Whether as Captain Melonhead or just the local oddball, Jonny taught us that true friendship doesn’t have to make sense to anyone else.

Plank

Plank is hands down the most famous piece of wood in cartoon history. With two simple eyes and a smile drawn in crayon, Plank was Jonny’s loyal companion through thick, thin, and all-out Ed scams. Some say Plank is just a board, but fans know he’s so much more.

From superhero adventures to neighborhood hijinks, Plank was always ready to save the day or at least, silently observe as chaos unfolded. In a fictional town full of noisy kids, Plank proved that sometimes, the quietest ones leave the biggest impact.

Lee Kanker

Lee Kanker

Lee Kanker isn’t just the ringleader of the Kanker Sisters—she’s a full-blown teenage tornado! With her wild red hair and sharp tongue, Lee had no trouble bossing around her sisters—or making the Eds’ lives miserable with her aggressive flirting.

This teenage girl had a serious (and seriously creepy) crush on Eddy, chasing him across the cul-de-sac with all the subtlety of a bulldozer. Love her or fear her (or maybe both?), Lee left a lasting impression that no Ed could ever forget.

Marie Kanker

Marie Kanker

Blue-haired, sneaky, and mischievous, Marie Kanker was the “bad girl” every ‘90s cartoon needed. Her specialty? Targeting poor Double D with unwanted affection, sly schemes, and just a little chaos. If you thought the Eds were trouble, Marie could teach a masterclass in mayhem.

Still, beneath her punk-rock swagger, Marie had a charm that made her weirdly likable. Sure, she’d blackmail you into a date, but at least you’d get an unforgettable afternoon out of it!

May Kanker

May Kanker

May Kanker might’ve looked the most innocent with her buck teeth and soft blonde hair, but don’t be fooled—she was every bit as dangerous as her sisters. Obsessed with Ed, May used her “sweet but scary” vibe to get her way in classic Kanker fashion.

Whether by overwhelming hugs or sheer persistence, May was determined to win Ed’s heart, even if Ed was usually too busy thinking about gravy to notice. You’ve gotta admire that kind of dedication!

Let’s Give Some Spotlight To Other Guest Stars!

Some other minor Ed Eddy Edd characters also add more fun and drama to the show:

  • Eddy’s Brother: The ultimate “legend” of Peach Creek, Eddy’s brother was hyped up for years before finally appearing as a full-blown bully. His shocking reveal in Ed, Edd n Eddy’s Big Picture Show broke a lot of kids’ hearts and explained so much about Eddy.
  • Plank’s Parents: Only in Peach Creek could a family reunion feature literal planks of wood. Yes, Plank’s “parents” showed up once, proving that imagination has no limits in Jonny’s world!
  • Angus: A tough-looking kid who briefly appeared as part of the Urban Rangers. Though silent and mysterious, Angus gave off serious “don’t mess with me” energy.
  • The Kanker Sisters’ Babies: Blink and you’ll miss them: these bizarre baby versions of the Kanker sisters pop up in the background, usually causing just as much trouble as their teen counterparts.
  • Baron O’ Beefdip: A hilarious old-timey wrestling character from one of Eddy’s wild scams. You haven’t seen true sportsmanship until you’ve witnessed a move called the “meat slam.”
  • Bob: Another blink-and-you-miss-him character, Bob, was just one of the background kids adding life to the chaotic world of Peach Creek.
  • Double G: This cool, jazzy alter-ego of Jonny’s appeared during a fantasy sequence. He proved that Jonny could be smooth, at least in his dreams!
  • Eddo: A medieval knight version of Edd from the Once Upon an Ed episode. Fully armored and fully ready to overthink everything, of course.
  • Evil Tim: Ed’s notorious “evil twin” persona, dreamed up during one of the Eds’ fantasy sequences. Just imagine Ed, but somehow even more reckless.
  • James: Another background kid occasionally spotted around the cul-de-sac. The show never gave him much screen time, but he’s part of the chaos!
  • Jib: A mysterious and barely seen kid in the background crowd. Ed, Edd n Eddy loved peppering their world with these blink-and-you-miss characters.
  • Jim: Not much is known about Jim except that he adds to the big neighborhood energy. The more the merrier when it comes to Peach Creek madness!
  • Mr. Sun: A literal talking sun from one of the show’s many surreal fantasy moments. Yes, in Peach Creek, even the sky had an opinion.
  • Mr. Yum Yum: One of Jonny’s imaginary friends—because obviously, one wooden buddy wasn’t enough. Mr. Yum Yum took weirdness to the next level!
Polly Poo Poo: Another one of Jonny’s bizarre imaginary friends. (We told you Jonny’s world was weird and wonderful!)
  • Salty Sam: An old sailor alter-ego that pops up during the Eds’ many imaginative adventures. Probably smelled like seawater and jawbreakers.
  • Santa Claus: Yep, Peach Creek has its own version of Santa. Whether real or imagined, it added a festive bit of holiday chaos.
Scoot: A rare background character who, despite not having many lines, helped fill out the cul-de-sac’s wild energy.
  • Sheldon: One of Rolf’s many bizarre farm animals. You haven’t seen true friendship until you’ve seen a boy and his goat.
  • Sheldon Jr.: Because why have one Sheldon when you can have two? Another proud member of Rolf’s hilarious backyard menagerie.
  • Wolf: Yet another quirky animal tied to Rolf’s “old country” traditions. No one ever really explained him—and that’s kind of perfect.
  • Yeshmiyek: Rolf’s mysterious, unseen relative who’s often referenced in bizarre, hilarious “old country” stories. One can only imagine the adventures that Yeshmiyek had.
