These kids tv specials featured kids in the studio audience, playing games with the sponsors product "Ideal Toys and Games". The kids did this for the chance to win a collection of toys and games. The games were wrapped around the choosing of winners of a treasure chest of toys and games via mailed in entries and reruns of old movie and tv cartoons and reruns of old tv shows: "The Abbott & Costello TV Show", "The Adventures Of Superman", "Mack & Myer For Hire!" and "The Three Stooges" Films.

"The First Two Fun & Games Day Specials" Aired on WPIX TV Ch.11 in NYC On Sunday February 2, 1969 and again on Sunday November 30, 1969. Ch.11's resident kids tv hosts "Captain Jack" McCarthy and "Officer Joe" Bolton were the show's mc's. WNEW TV Ch.5 in NYC aired "The Third And Last Fun & Games Day Special!" on Monday, Washington's Birthday February 23, 1970.

Bob McAllister (the fifth and last adult host/ performer of "Wonderama!") mc'd the show which featured reruns of old movies EG "The Marx Brothers In Monkey Business" and reruns of old tv cartoons inbetween the playing of the games and the choosing of mailed in entries.
