| This series was about a pair of squirrels who, much like Alvin and the Chipmunks, were very musically inclined and played jazz. Before they made it to screen, they were just characters on a record doing songs, again, much like the chipmunks. The recording was done by Don Elliott and Alexander Burland, with back-up music by Cannonball Adderley, Bobby Jaspar, and Sam Most. The series also managed to air before the Chipmunks series was produced, giving them the 'lead'. Unfortunately, the series was a flop and lasted only a few years; eventually only being played in cartoon packages of various produciton companies. |
