One day, a huge storm whips through right after Woodstock builds himself a new nest. He takes shelter with Snoopy, but when he returns home, it is gone. Someone took his nest. It's up to Detective Snoopy to find the culprit and bring Woodstock's home back. In the end, it turns out that Lucy took the nest for a science experiment in school, stating that it was a 'prehistoric bird nest' because none of today's birds could build such an odd nest.
